Large icon featuring Christ entitled "Do Not Touch Me."

Keyhole cutout on back for hanging.

Icon depicts an intimate encounter between Mary Magdalene and the Risen Christ after the Resurrection.  After she realizes who she is talking to, Mary instinctively reaches out for him, but Jesus refuses her touch, as he has not yet ascended.  The icon is based off of an early 16th century icon from the Cretan school.  The original is currently housed at the Institute of Greek Studies in Venice.
